INSTRUCTIONS:

We strongly recomment pilots use this oceanic planning chart which outlines general Oceanic procedures.

To obtain oceanic clearance enter your callsign into the scratchpad at the bottom of the FMC, then proess proceed.
The system will look up your flight plan, then ask you to confirm your clearance request. The format is as follows:

-DOGAL/1255 M082F370 Entry point / Time over entry point
Mach speed and Requested FL
-RMK/2ND NAT D F370 MAX F390 Second choice NAT and maximum FL
This is if your original choice is unavailable.

The request will then be sent to the Oceanic clearance controller. It may take upto 15 minutes to obtain a reply.

DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW UNTIL THE REPLY COMES THROUGH. IF YOU DO SO YOUR CLEARANCE REQUEST WILL BE LOST.

The window will refresh itself automatically when the controller replies. If your clearance can be processed automatically you will receive a reply similar to the one below.
